MATTIE'S MELTAWAYS

5 stars
Clare Revell

A short story, weighing in at 80 pages, (Mattie's Meltaways) is packed with emotion and heart pumping action to keep the reader glued to the pages. A fantastic end to a wonderful series, Ms. Manners leaves the reader with a surprise I didn't see coming. (No jumping to the end to read it because you'll miss out on a great story if you do.) Just make sure you have a tissue to hand, because you'll need it. The entire series is already back in my TBR pile.

LOST IN LONE CREEK

5 Hearts

Once again, Ms. Mary Manners has written another page-turner which grabbed me at the first page and didn’t turn me loose even at the end. The fact that this is #1 in a promising series is exciting to me. This series started with a totally different look at ranch life and love lost but never forgotten.

The main characters, as well as the secondary ones, have major likeability issues. The believability factor flows throughout all the other parts of the story. The issue of inspiration was handled well and would not insult anyone. Manners wrote a book that is great reading for all ages. The manner in which Ms. Manners presented her storyline is unique and a wonderful work to read.
I highly recommend this book and look forward to the future series. You will see why Ms. Manners is on my “must-read” list of authors.

TESSA'S TEACAKES

5 Stars
JoAnn Carter

Ms. Manners does it again. Tessa's Teacakes is another sweet treat. I loved seeing Tessa, the firecracker and youngest sibling in this series, find her way to a love of a lifetime.

GRACE'S GOLD

5 Cupcakes
Donna M. Basinow

This is one story worthy of a 5 cupcake review!

Oh my goodness, with a simple sweet lemon cake, Ms. Manners demonstrates the deep love from a mother to her child. Grace has traveled a hard road and is happy with the life of mother and baker extraordinaire. When Brent sneaks into her heart by showing his love for her little boy, Adam, her heart melts like the icing on her cakes.

This is such a sweet read! The agony Grace feels, over choices past and present, just makes you want to cry and cheer as this story unrolls.

KATE'S KISSES

5 stars
Clare Revell

Kate's Kisses is a wonderful short read, full to bursting with love and hope (and chocolate covered cherries - the kisses of the title). Logan and Kate leap to life off the pages and literally pull you into their story, immersing you in their hopes and dreams. Coming from
Ms. Manners this one had to be good, and it is. Short and sweet and just like real chocolate, leaves you wanting more.

There was so much to love about this story. Mary Manners did a wonderful job of showing how, with love, faith and forgiveness, we can all be truly redeemed. -

Tender Mercies is a wonderful story about the temptations fame brings...secondary characters add depth to this touching story of learning from mistakes and taking the opportunity offered by second chances.

The story flowed so well, it was almost impossible to put down. Varied storylines were developed throughout the book. It was definitely not cookie-cutter. The book was exceptional.

I highly recommend this book to anyone. I cried, I laughed. Ms. Mary Manners has delivered a great book once again!

STARFIRE

Long and Short Reviews

Starfire is a beautiful sweet romance which I enjoyed reading. Short but complete and well written, it flows smoothly from beginning to end. Children, animals and love all blend together to make a very pleasant book.

BRENNA'S CHOICE

5 stars
Schwitze

Mary Manners proves that she is also a great short story writer. Mary Manners carries us swiftly through Brenna's grief-stricken childhood and into her long held desire to resist her past. We quickly understand Brenna's resistance to return home to Oklahoma. Mary Manners allows us to ride the same horse that Brenna has ridden as a means of escape.

As we ride along with Brenna, we recognize that she is actually being called home. It is a gradual, gentle call. Little by little Brenna acknowledges it. And little by little we discover that there is an emptiness inside of her that will only be filled by her answering the call. And it is much more than a return to Oklahoma. It is a genuine return home.

Uplifting! Don't miss this one.
